About Us

The mission of Ranger Ready Repellents is to reduce the rapid increase of Lyme disease, Zika virus, West Nile, and other vector-borne illnesses, and to educate people on the importance of wearing repellent as part of an everyday routine. To do this, we invented a better bug spray that can be worn every day and is safe for adults and children. Our active ingredient, Picaridin 20%, is the safest and most effective repellent that provides 12-hour protection when worn properly. Ranger Ready is designed to be the first with a non-greasy formula in premium scents. 

Ranger Ready’s headquarters are home to the team’s office space and design center, and manufacturing, storage and shipping spaces, and is located in a modern renovated warehouse in South Norwalk, CT. We offer a motivated work environment built on teamwork and an “all-hands-on-deck” mentality.

Partnering with industry leaders and innovators is a key part of Ranger Ready’s strategy. The company has partnered with the Global Lyme Alliance to join, support, and expand their education and support programs, Ranger Ready has multiple partnerships within the professional golf world, independent pharmacy groups, and additional partnerships that will be officially announced in the coming weeks.

 

Job Summary 

We are looking to hire top talent to fit our expanding human capital needs during this exciting growth and development phase. Due to the time and energy it takes to find such talent, Ranger Ready is seeking to hire an experienced Talent Acquisition professional to source and place 5-7 new team members over the next 6 months. The ideal candidate will work full time out of our Norwalk home office to understand the technical depth of the repellent industry and our unique company culture, and to find the talent that best matches that culture. 

As the Talent Acquisition Partner, you will work closely with our Founder and CEO to develop recruiting sources and strategy, edit existing job specifications in order to attract top talent, work to improve recruiting efficiency and actively source and qualify candidates. You will champion the entire recruitment process including advertising roles on applicable job sites, sorting through resumes to find the best applicants, effectively communicating the company’s needs and collaborative work environment to prospective employees, and ultimately negotiating employment details for eligible team members.

 

Required Skills and Experience

A minimum of 5 years of professional Recruiting and/or related Human Resources experience is required, as is previous experience with developing small and highly functional teams.

Hands-on work with high growth start-up companies is preferred, although not required. An undergraduate degree in human resources, business administration or a related field is required.

You would be hired as a temporary employee for this role, however once placements have been made there is potential to transition to full time for the right individual. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
